HDW Class Dolphin AIP Submarine

With our HDW Class Dolphin AIP Submarine we have set standards in customized boat design and production. Based on the already advanced parameters of its predecessor – the HDW Class Dolphin Submarine and together with experts from our customer navy, we have developed this type of boat which ideally suits the client’s requirements.

The HDW Class Dolphin AIP Submarine provides the high operational value of the Dolphin assets, but has been improved by the integrated fuel cell AIP system for significantly increased submerged endurances, and a new state-of-the-art combat system. Thanks to the weapon expulsion system, torpedoes, missiles and mines can be launched from the weapon tube set. Besides the high fire power, this class of submarine provides a very high automation degree of the controls for the propulsion plant, navigation and handling of the boat.
