Technology Conventions 2020
thyssenkrupp Marine Systems has established a new platform during the summer of 2020: Our “Technology Conventions 2020“. We are seeking new technology partners and suppliers for newbuild projects in the surface and subsurface segments. Due to increasing customer demands for innovation, digitalization and internationality, we have decided to start a structured assessment process to be carried out companywide. For this purpose we have been staging a series of in-house "Technology Conventions“.
With the overarching goal to discuss current technological trends and get in touch with suppliers, also from international surroundings. The convention series was targeted at technology partners who want to assume a strategic role in the future in our company's surface and subsurface construction projects.
The Technology Conventions offer suppliers a professional stage to present their latest developments and its relevance to thyssenkrupp Marine Systems. We expect the assessment process to result in around a third of our current technology partners being replaced by new suppliers.
