thyssenkrupp Marine Systems' design of the "Berlin"-class replenishment ships of the German Navy had been selected as the basis for the design of the Canadian Joint Support Ship (JSS) program. thyssenkrupp Marine Systems Canada is currently supporting Canada with JSS-related engineering services under a frame work contract.
